Film photo taken by my husband in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
I feel the most "me" with a camera in hand.
I am inspired by the beauty of the natural world and seek to capture the "little things" in life that are often overlooked. Plants, wildlife, and landscapes are some of my favorite subjects to photograph because there is always something new to discover. I hope that my photos encourage others to notice, appreciate, and care for the environment and community around them.
When I'm not taking photographs you can find me creating collaged cards and digital illustrations, gardening with Star City Garden Club, picking up litter with the Roanoke Plawkers, arranging antiques in my home, or cooking and baking for my family.

I was born in upstate New York but Roanoke, Virginia has been my home for the past 15 years. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History from Roanoke College in 2018, and continued on to earn my Master of Arts in Material Culture and Public Humanities from Virginia Tech in 2021. I am currently an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Tech. I do freelance photography and illustration work, and enjoy lettering and making hand-drawn cards for family and friends.
I'm always looking for new photography, hand lettering, or illustration projects. Please contact me if you are interested in working together. I would love to hear from you and bring your vision to life! ✨
